Based on projected player registration numbers, the STHA is planning the following for the House Program this season:

8U Division:

o   Red, White, and Blue divisions, based on player age and skill

o   Practices will be mostly station-based, following USA Hockey’s ADM model

o   Players will be evaluated for placement during the first two scheduled weeks

o   Intention to field an 8U Select team.  A second team will be considered if numbers/skill level warrants.

10U Division:

o   Four (4) competitive House teams

o   Players will be evaluated for placement during the first two scheduled weeks, and a player draft will be held

o   12 Games

o   Intention to field a 10U Select team

12U Division:

o   Two (2) independent competitive House teams, and one (1) Snowbelt team

o   Players will be evaluated for placement during the first two scheduled weeks, and a player draft will be held

o   12 Games for House teams

o   We will look at bringing in other local 12U House teams (i.e. Ithaca, Elmira) to possibly play some games for the independent House teams

16U Division:

o   Four (4) competitive House teams

o   Players will be evaluated for placement during the first two scheduled weeks, and a player draft will be held

o   Championship tournament at the end of the season

o   Provide less practice hours and more games (20) than in previous seasons, based on feedback received

o   Intention to field a 14U Select team
