Congratulatons to the STHA's 16UAA Tournament Bound team, who will be heading to States in March 2020 as one of two teams to represent Central Section  at the 16U Tier II tournament!  

The team went 8-2 in their 10 Qualifying ("Q") games, ending  competition tied atop the Central Section standings with New Hartford at 16 points.  The Jr. Devils will enter the tournament as a #2 seed as New Hartford wins the tie-break for 1st place  with a goal differential of +1, as they outscored the Jr. Devils by a total goals scored count of 5-4  in the teams' two games, with each team winning one game. 

The State Tournament, held in Amherst, NY March 13-15, 2020, takes the top two seeds from each of the four Sections in New York State (Central, East, North, and West) to name a State champion who will go on to compete at the 16U Tier II National Tournament.   

Congratulations to the players, the families, and Coaches Piero Lisio, Chris Laganiere, Rich Botting, Eric Kretzmer , Dan McAvoy, and Russ Carman on a job well done, and we know you will all represent the STHA and Central Section well in the State Tournament!
